If you lose power to a CR 10, the program will be lost. - First thing you do is fix the power problem, then call station to see if modem answers. Also, must check the 12 and 5 volts on the data logger. Then, once back in the office, connect using loggernet. A-fter that, use loggernet to reset the station time, upload the standard CR program that is located in D:datalogger_programs. It is called cr10_std_014A_024A.dld date modified 9-28-08. This is a generic program that is used in all CR10 and is used at the NMCC network.
On the etup of loggernet, you cannot upload/download the program unless loggernet is set with the passwor for that program. the password is "2104" found in setup file of loggernet.
the CR1000 have a double memory and will not lose data and or program when power fails. the cr1000 do not have a security code. When you setup CR1000, you do not have to input the security code.
If Loggernet has not downloaded data from a station with a CR25, there could be two major issues.Try calling the number (get from "setup" of loggernet), and see what happens.
If the phone just rings and rings, these could be the reasons: -modem is mail-functioning -cable connecting modem to phone line is bad -no power to weather station.
If you get an error message such as "this line cannot be reached", the problem lies with the phone company.
