Battery and solar panal-When an external battery is used with the cambell data loggers, the solar panals either have a regulator on the back of the solar panal or a Sunsaver regulator at the battery. The new inclousers have the cambell regulator in the box along with the battery. Some times the regulator on the back of the campbell solar panals does not stop the battery from over charging and the water in the battery goes low and the battery fails. If this happens then a Sunsaver regulator is also used at the bettery to protect the external battery.
